GRADUS AD PARNASSUM ist ein privates Musikinstitut in Altdorf bei Nürnberg, welches vier- bis fünfmal im Jahr intensive Klavier – Workshops vorzugsweise an Wochenenden durchführt. Die Kurse wenden sich an begabte Schüler und Studenten, die eine professionelle Musikerlaufbahn anstreben oder sich auf Prüfungen und/oder Wettbewerbe vorbereiten. Daher finden die Kurse überwiegend in den Ferien- und Prüfungszeiten statt. Jeder Kurs endet mit einem Abschlußkonzert am letzten Tag nachmittags um 16.00 Uhr. Informationen über preiswerte Quartiere (Pensionen oder privat in benachbarten Gastfamilien) können telefonisch gegeben werden. Übemöglichkeiten sind im Institut in beschränktem Umfang vorhanden.
Neuerdings kooperiert das Institut mit dem "Förderverein zur Unterstützung musikalischer Jugendlicher" e.V. Nürnberg durch die Ausrichtung spezieller Hauskonzerte für den begabten musikalischen Nachwuchs. Über Inhalte und Zielsetzungen des Verein wird auf dessen Homepage verwiesen (siehe unter "Links").
GRADUS AD PARNASSUM is a private music institute in Altdorf near Nuernberg which organizes 4 - 5 times per year intensive piano workshops preferably on weekends. These courses are addressed to gifted pupils and/or students seeking for a professional career, or just to prepare themselves for examinations, public performances and/or competitions. Each course lasts four days and ends with an internal final concert on the last day in the afternoon at 04.00 pm. Private accomodation as well as full board can be provided for a reasonable price. There are also (limited) practicing possibilities in the institute. Eventually a workshop might be cancelled or changed.
The institute has established a cooperation with an association to promote young gifted musicians in and around Nürnberg. For information about the intentions and aims of this society please consult www.fv-musik.de or under "links".
